Quick & Easy Casserole

Well it's been a while since we updated this blog ourselves, but we're back with lots more recipes for all you food lovers out there.

Here's one of our favorite casserole recipes. It's quick and easy to prepare, especially after a hard day at work when you're way too tired to fuss over food. It's also a great way to make use of leftovers:

casserole recipe

Ingredients:
1½ - 2 cups cooked protein (ham turkey, chicken, beef, etc.)
1 can soup + 1/3 cup liquid (milk, cream, juice, water)
1
½ cups cooked vegetables (beans, peas, carrots, etc.)
1½ - 2 cups cooked pasta, potato or corn
2 - 4 tbsp crushed topping (chips, breadcrumbs, almonds, etc.)

Directions:
1. Line a casserole dish with roasting wrap. (Make sure the edges overlap enough to fold back over the casserole.)
2. Add the ingredients.
3. Fold the warp over the casserole, completely covering.
4. Pierce the top with a fork 6 times.
5. Bake at 400 degrees F for 1/2 hour or till golden and bubbly.

Makes for a hearty and satisfying meal.

Enjoy!
